This section gives the definitions of the terminology use in this User Guide.

Terminology	Definitions
Hardware	The physical part of the embedded computing device
Platform	The hardware
Vendor	The makers of the embedded device, or Original Equipment Manufacturers OEM
Architecture	The processor core's architecture. E.g. ARM, PPC. MicroBlaze
