U-Boot package has been integrated into the PetaLinx souce tree. U-Boot is build as part of the PetaLinux build process, allowing the user to selectively choose to include or exclude the building of U-Boot.
The platform porting of U-Boot has been automated within PetaLinux, allowing any new platform added to PetaLinux to boot up a working U-Boot bootloader.
To include U-Boot support, simply select the 'Build U-Boot' option in the 'System Settings Menu'. Refer to the System Settings Menu Section of the Customizing PetaLinux Chapter for more information.
