Each time you start a new session working with PetaLinux, you must load the settings.sh (or settings.csh) file, located at the top level of the PetaLinux directory tree.
$ cd /path/to/petalinux $ source settings.sh PetaLinux environment set to '/home/myuser/petalinux'
